via deposit to our TD Canada Trust account:
When you make your monthly lease payment directly to our bank account, in the past we have asked you to have the teller leave your last name as a memo on the transaction. This ensures that your name is recorded on our bank statements, such that we can credit your account with your payment. With no name, it simply indicates "DEPOSIT" and a branch number. If the deposit was made in cash, there is no way of tracing the transaction.

Some TD Canada Trust branches are no longer permitting customers to leave their last name as credit memos on transactions, citing privacy concerns. However, the bank has informed us that customers may leave their file number as a means of identification. We assign all customers an internal file number for our own database. If you need your file number to complete such a transaction, please call us toll-free at 1-866-374-4752 to obtain your file number. Otherwise, please call us as soon as possible after making a transaction to notify us of the branch location and the amount.

Since TD Canada Trust has changed their policies regarding this issue, we have had several deposits to our account which have gone unclaimed. If you have made a payment to us recently that you think may not have been credited to your account, please call us. We will require the date, amount and branch address (or branch transit number) to credit the payment to your account.
